The name of this place comes from Raja Gulab Singh of Kashmir. 
The village is surrounded by beautiful snow-capped Himalayan Mountains and picturesque green meadows.

This place has been an attraction point for many tourists throughout the year. 
The popular Bollywood movie Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani also had some shots from this place.
It’s fairly easy to reach here as it is only 12.5 km from Manali. 
You can take a car or hire one from Manali and reach here within an hour. 
The road along the way is also well constructed making it easily commutable.
There are a lot of activities to do here so you won’t be bored.
Gulaba is situated between high mountains allowing tourists to a nice star gazing camp at night.
On a clear night sky, you can watch constellations.  If you are someone who loves adventurous sports, there’s a lot in store for you too. 
You can enjoy trekking, hiking, paragliding, skiing, and a lot more here. You even have a lot of sightseeing which you can do riding on a horse or a yak!
Gulaba also allows travelers to explore other places like Rohtang pass, Solang Valley, and Kothi.

  • Day 1: Delhi - Manali
  • Day 2: Sightseeing in Manali
  • Day 3: Manali - Gulaba - Rola Kholi
  • Day 4: Rola Kholi - Bhrigu Lake - Rola Kholi
  • Day 5: Rola Kholi - Gulaba - Manali - Delhi
  • Day 6: Reach Delhi

Day 1: Delhi to Manali (For the people who have opted for Delhi - Delhi Package)

  • Reach Delhi
  • Report at Majnu Ka Tila in Delhi by 5 PM for overnight journey to Manali.

Day 2: Manali Local Sightseeing

  • Reach Manali in the morning.
  • After Freshening up in the stay we will leave for Local sightseeing
  • We will provide Scooty to explore around Manali yourself.
  • Visit Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple & Do some Shopping at Mall Road for souvenirs, handicrafts, jackets, shawls, and jewelry.
  • Stay: Manali (Hotel - 3 Sharing)

Day 3: Manali - Gulaba - Rola Kholi

  • We leave Manali at 8 am for Gulaba.
  • After covering a distance of 20 km, we reach Gulaba by 10 AM.
    This route also connects Rohtang Pass. The entire route is scenic with Pine trees and mountains all around.
  • A well-marked trail near Gulaba check post takes us to thick green meadows and thick forests filled with Oak and cedar trees
  • The entire trail consists of moderate to steep ascent. The entire trail from August - September will be covered with flowers.
  • The best thing about Bhrigu lake is after one hour of trekking you see green meadows and herds of wild horses and sheep grazing there.
  • After a 6kms trek, we will be entering into an open meadow (Rola Kholi) in the middle of the mountains where we will be staying for the night.
  • Hanuman Tibba & Seven sister peaks can be seen from the campsite.
  • Rola Kholi is open grassland which is a perfect spot for camping. A small water stream flows nearby which acts as a water source.
  • If the sky is clear at night, we can gaze into the stars too.
  • Drive Distance: 20 Kms, time: 1 - 2 hours
    Trekking Distance: 5 - 6 Kms, Time: 5 - 6 Hours
  • Altitude: Manali (6,398 feet) to Rola Kholi (12,566 feet)
  • Stay: Camping at Rola Kholi

Day 4: Rola Kholi - Bhrigu Lake - Rola Kholi

  • After a healthy breakfast at the campsite, we will leave for Bhrigu lake.
  • Today is considered a photographers paradise as the entire trail is covered with lush green meadows.
  • These meadows carpeted with fresh grass and colorful flowers are thick with fragrant mountain air during the monsoon season.
  • The entire trail consists of a steep slope which makes it challenging, Last 1Km of the trek is through boulders.
  • Once you reach the final ridge an oval shape Mesmerizing sight of Bhrigu Lake will be seen in front of you.
  • After spending some peaceful time at this high-altitude lake (14,009Ft) we will start our descent towards Rola Kholi.
  • Trekking distance: 10 km, Time: 7 - 8 Hours
  • Altitude: Rola Kholi (12,566 ft) to Bhrigu Lake (14,009ft) to Rola Kholi (12,566 ft)
  • Stay: Camping at Rola Kholi

Day 5: Rola Kholi to Gulaba

  • Today is the last day. We will head back to Gulaba the same way we came from.
  • The two-day trekking experience will come in handy as you will be descending quickly and soft meadows help you reduce the burden on your legs.
  • After 4-5Kms of descent, we will reach Gulaba from here we will continue our journey towards Manali in a four-wheeler.
  • Trekking Distance: 5 - 6 Kms, Time: 5 - 6 Hours
    Drive Distance: 20 Kms, time: 1 - 2 hours
  • Altitude: Rola Kholi (12,566 feet) to Manali (6,398 feet)
  • Stay: NA
  • The people who have opted for Delhi - Delhi Package will have their Bus @5PM from Manali.

Day 6: Reach Delhi

  • Reach Delhi.
