Friensdship peak trek


Friendship peak altitude is 17,352 ft, located in Himachal Pradesh. We will be seeing lush green meadows, thick forests, the water streams coming out of glaciers, a lot of white snow in the trek. Friendship peak summit offers an amazing view of three incredible ranges that include the Great Himalayan Ranges, Pir Panjal Ranges and the Dhauladhar Ranges.


     Day 1:

  • Arrival in Manali. Local sightseeing & acclimatization hike to Jogini falls and Vashihst temple & hot springs.
  • Stay: Homestay, Manali

    Day 2:
  • Manali to Bakkarthatch via Solang valley & Dhundi
  • Manali to Dhundi: We will travel by vehicle. (21 KM | One hour)
  • Dhundi to Bakkarthatch: It will be a 5 Km trek. (3 hours)

    Day 3:
  • Bakkarthatch to Lady Leg (Advance base camp)
  • 4 KM Trek & 4 hours

    Day 4:
  • Load ferry to Summit base camp & back
  • 3 KM Trek | 3 hours
  • We will set up our tents and drop our luggage at summit camp.
  • “Climb High, Sleep Low” This is a thumb rule in mountains. It helps for better acclimatisation. Also, reduces weight for the next day. 

    Day 5:
  • Lady Leg to Summit base camp
  • 3 KM Trek | 3 hours
  • We will reach the campsite along with the rest of the luggage. We will try to sleep early to wake up pretty early for the summit day.

    Day 6:
  • Summit camp to Summit & back to Lady Leg
  • 15 KM | 13 hours
  • We will start around 2 AM in the morning. Expected to reach Friendship peak summit around 10 AM. After spending some time at the glorious view, we will head back to Lady Leg.

    Day 7:
  • Lady Leg to Dhundi trek & Dhundi to Manali Guesthouse by vehicle

    Day 8:
  • Buffer day

  • Food: Day-1 Dinner to Day-8 Breakfast.
  • Accommodation: Six Nights Camping during the trek on Sharing Basis
  • Guesthouse stay: two nights
  • Tents, Mattresses, and Sleeping Bags
