From the umpteen number of spots to visit in Goa, a not many that most certainly ought not be missed are the Fontainhas - India's just existing Latin quarters, the seventeenth exceptionally old Bom Jesus Basilica; to delight in a little bohemian soul, the lively Wednesday swap meet at Anjuna Beach, and Dudhsagar - quite possibly of India's most noteworthy cascade. Yet, in the event that you're here essentially to loosen up, there's no lack of things to appreciate. Beginning with detecting a dolphin or two at the Palolem ocean side, wondering about the regularly sublime nightfalls at Chapora fort, going for relaxed walks through the overgrown remains of St. Augustine in Old Goa or basically absorbing the pungent tropical breeze with platefuls of spread garlic prawns and a couple of such a large number of rum and cokes, with a side of jazz and Konkani music.
Reach Panjim/Mapusa and board our private hired vehicle. Head to the booked stay, check in, freshen up and have breakfast. After breakfast we will go sightseeing near Panjim.
First we'll be heading to Fontainhas. Fontainhas is known for narrow lanes full of colorful Portuguese villas with balconies and red-tiled roofs. It is a treat for photographers and anyone who is keen on getting clicked too. Fontainhas has very cute and instagrammable cafes to relish Italian delicacies. There are many street art locations too.
At a very walkable distance we have our next sight of visit which is Immaculate Conception Cathedral. This is a colonial Portuguese Baroque style church which was first built in 1541 as a chapel on a hillside overlooking the city of Panjim. It is one among the most famous and most visited churches in Goa. We will have our lunch in between.
By evening we will reach Baga/Calangute beach for sunset. Post sunset you are free to explore the night life of North Goa.
