Brahmatal Winter Trek in Uttarakhand

Brahmatal - A Lake where Brahma is used to meditate as per the mythology. It is one of the high-altitude lakes situated at an altitude of 12,250Ft in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.

It is an ideal choice for beginners and less experienced trekkers as the majority of the trek continue under the forest cover reducing the chances of high altitude sickness.
The spectacular views of  Himalayan ranges like Trishul, Nandaghunti, Chowkhamba, Nilkanth, Kamet, Hathi, and Ghoda peak from the trail are one of the many reasons for doing this trek

The Brahmatal trek takes one through beautiful valleys, hushed hamlets, streams, and conifers, and oak forests. In winter, the region is covered in a sheath of snow and offered an unparalleled Himalayan view.
