Abbey Waterfalls is a destination of tranquility, peace and beauty. This falls is around 8 km away from
Madikeri, 122 km from Mysore, 144 km from Mangalore anad 268 km from Bangalore. The best time to
visit thesefalls is from July to October, as during this time the adrenaline rush of the water is high. Abbey
Falls has a wider fall area. There is a 15 min walk through well constructed steps, surrounded by coffee
plantations which is a divine scenary. The place is good to click pictures as there is a walkway bridge,
which adds a special attraction.
Raja's seat, the seat of the Kings, located in the town of Madikeri. This place has a breathtaking scenary
with lush greenery. This place is well known for it's beautiful eye-catching sunset and sunrise views. This
place has calm environment and the gold rays of the sun, gives a refreshing experience. The place is
called as Raja's seat because it was the place where Coorg's kings used to visit and enjoy the view of
beautiful scenic beauty around. One of the best place to click pictures.
Mandalpatti peak is loacted at a distance of 25-30 km from Madikeri town. One of the popular tourist
spot, with lush green surroundings. This is at a height of 1600 m. This fantastic trail is located en route to
Abbey Falls. This place is also called as mini Scotland of Karnataka. Here, you can also experience the
offroading jeep experience. Absolutely mesmerizing place to visit. You can also enjoy the scenic view of
sunset here and relax for a while.
Dubare Elephant Camp is must-experience for the elephant lover in you. By visiting this place you can
know more about these creatures, which are well trained forv the famous Mysore Dasara. This camp is
located in the Coorg district enjoys the beautiful weather conditions. This camp is open throughout the
year, but the postmonsoons months are ideal months to visit. This place attracts hordesand tourists from
everywhere asthere are plenty of elephants. Elephant ride is the most popular activity done here.
Namdroling Monastery Golden temple is a Tibetan colony in Coorg is an ideal escape from the hustle
and bustle of city life, where you can enjoy the place by forgetting all difficulties. This enclosed calm and
spiritual ambiance of the place, gives you peace and refreshment. It is loacted at a distance of 34 km
from Madikeri. THe Golden Temple complex is huge and it houses 40 feet high. The temple tower is
highly ornate. This monastery not only attracts large number of young Tibetans seeking enlightment and
education, but also draws large number of tourists from all over India and abroad.

Depart from Mysore & head towards Coorg. The distance between Mysore and Coorg is around 120 km and it takes approximately 3 hours to reach.
On the way to Coorg, visit the Namdroling Monastery, which is located in Bylakuppe. It's the largest Tibetan settlement in India and has beautiful gold-plated statues of Lord Buddha.
Dubare Elephant Camp: Next, visit the Dubare Elephant Camp, which is located on the banks of the river Cauvery. You can take an elephant ride and learn about the elephants and their lifestyle.
Nisargadhama: After Dubare, visit the Nisargadhama, which is a beautiful island located in the middle of the river Cauvery. You can enjoy activities like boating, zip-lining, and elephant rides.

Day 2 :

Raja's Seat: In the evening, head to Raja's Seat, which is a popular viewpoint in Coorg. You can enjoy a beautiful sunset view here.
