Day 1: Kochi Local Sightseeing: A Day of Culture, Shopping, and Scenic Views

Welcome to Kochi! Whether you’ve just arrived at the railway station or flown in, we’ll be picking you up and heading straight into the heart of this vibrant city. There’s a whole lot to see, and the day is just perfect for soaking in the mix of history, culture, and those chilled coastal vibes.
First stop: Fort Kochi. This part of town is all about old-world charm, with its colonial-era buildings, quaint streets, and the iconic Chinese fishing nets. Stroll along the shoreline, watch the fishermen in action, and maybe even have a go at pulling up a net or two! Don’t rush—take your time to explore the street art, cute cafes, and maybe grab a quick snack if you’re in the mood.
Next, we’ll head to Jew Street, one of Koch's most colorful shopping spots. This place is full of character, with antique shops, spice markets, and plenty of unique trinkets that make for perfect souvenirs. Whether you're into vintage finds or just love the buzz of a lively market, Jew Street is a must. Wander around, chat with the friendly shop owners, and maybe treat yourself to something special.
After that, we’ll swing by Marine Drive. It’s one of the best spots in the city to relax and enjoy the coastal breeze. The view is fantastic, especially if the boats are out on the water. You can take a slow stroll along the promenade or just sit by the water and let the peacefulness sink in.
Finally, we’ll visit the Folklore Museum, a hidden gem if you love history and culture. This place is a treasure trove of Kerala’s rich heritage, with traditional costumes, art, and artefacts. You can almost feel the stories from the past coming to life here. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a day in Kochi.
After all that exploring, we’ll drop you off at your hotel in Kochi for the night. Relax, unwind, and enjoy the evening however you like whether that’s a peaceful dinner or a quiet night in. The day’s been full, but in the best way possible!

Day 2: Kochi to Alleppey: A Relaxing Escape to the Backwaters

After waking up to the fresh, crisp air of Munnar and enjoying a leisurely breakfast, it's time to leave the cool hills behind and make your way to Alleppey—a completely different kind of paradise. As you descend from the misty tea-covered hills, the landscape slowly changes into palm trees, winding rivers, and the serene backwaters that Alleppey is famous for.
When you arrive in Alleppey, the real magic begins. You’ll be welcomed aboard your houseboat with a refreshing drink—something cool to sip as you settle in and feel the gentle sway of the boat beneath your feet. This isn’t just any stay, it's a floating experience, where your room comes with views that keep changing as you drift along.
Lunch will be served on the boat, and it’s a delicious spread of traditional Kerala food. There’s something special about enjoying a meal while the world quietly passes by villages, coconut trees, and tiny fishing boats all making their way through the calm waters. It’s peaceful in a way that makes you want to slow down and appreciate the simplicity of life here.
In the afternoon, after you’ve had some time to relax and settle in, you’ll head out for a backwaters boat ride. Take a lovely drive to Varkala, On the way, visiting Jatayu Earth’s Centre feels like stepping into a mythical world. The massive sculpture of Jatayu perched on a hilltop is truly breathtaking, especially as you ride up in the cable car with panoramic views all around. It’s more than just a photo spot — the blend of adventure activities, scenic landscapes, and cultural storytelling makes it a unique and memorable experience on your Kerala journey.
Once you arrive, you’ll want to take a stroll along the Varkala Cliff. It's lined with little shops selling everything from colourful clothes to handmade jewellery, perfect for a bit of casual, fun shopping. And when you get tired of browsing, just grab a fresh juice or coconut water from one of the cliffside cafes, and sit back to enjoy the view. The sea stretches out in front of you, vast and endless, and there's something so calming about watching the waves crash against the shore below.
As the day winds down, make sure you’re at the beach for the sunset. It’s one of those breathtaking moments you don’t want to miss—the sky slowly changing from bright blue to a fiery blend of oranges and purples. The sun dips lower, casting a warm glow over the beach, and everything feels peaceful and perfect.

Start your last morning in Varkala with a healthy, nourishing breakfast, soaking in those chilled-out beach vibes one last time. If you’re up for it, catch the sunrise. It's quiet and beautiful, a perfect way to reflect before your journey continues.
After breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel and head towards Trivandrum but not before making a couple of meaningful stops. First up, the stunning Padmanabhaswamy Temple, where the architecture and the peaceful atmosphere will make you pause and appreciate the moment. 
Then, a quick visit to the Azhimala Shiva Temple, a peaceful gem tucked away by the beach. It’s not just about the temple here it's about the vibe. With the ocean waves in the background and a cool breeze in the air, this spot is perfect for taking a quiet moment to yourself. You can just sit, reflect, and soak in the calm surroundings, where nature and spirituality blend effortlessly. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel grounded, leaving you with a sense of peace before continuing your journey.
Finally, you’ll be on your way to the Trivandrum railway station or airport. It’s the last stretch of your journey, but with all the memories of Varkala’s sunsets and temple calmness, you’ll leave Kerala with a full heart, knowing you’ll carry a bit of its magic with you.
