As soon as you arrive in Kochi, whether by train or flight, our friendly team will be there to welcome you. From here, your journey to Alleppey begins. Enjoy the scenic drive filled with views of Kerala’s lush greenery, peaceful villages, and swaying palm trees.
Once in Alleppey, you’ll board a traditional houseboat—your stay for the night. After settling in, lunch will be served on board as you cruise through the serene backwaters. The calm waters mirror the sky, and you’ll spot life along the banks—fishermen casting nets, local children playing, and simple village life unfolding.
As evening nears, the backwaters offer a stunning sunset. Watch as the sky turns golden and reflects off the still water, creating a view you won’t forget. After dinner, let the gentle motion of the boat lull you to sleep.
Overnight stay: Alleppey Houseboat
After breakfast, you’ll leave Alleppey and head to Thekkady, famous for its wildlife and spice plantations. The road to Thekkady is filled with beautiful landscapes, from rolling hills to dense greenery.
In Thekkady, a jeep safari through Periyar National Park gives you a chance to see wild elephants, deer, and possibly even a tiger in their natural habitat. After the safari, you can experience an elephant ride—a memorable way to connect with these gentle giants.
Next, you’ll visit a spice plantation, where the air is filled with the scent of Kerala’s famous spices like cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon. You’ll learn about the spice trade that has shaped the region’s history. As the day winds down, you’ll enjoy two traditional performances: Kathakali, a classical dance, and Kalaripayattu, a form of martial arts.
After this full day of adventure and culture, you’ll spend the night in Thekkady.
Overnight stay: Thekkady
After breakfast, head to Munnar, a hill station known for its misty mountains and tea estates. The drive to Munnar offers scenic views of rolling hills and tea gardens that stretch for miles.
Your first stop in Munnar is Eravikulam National Park, where you might spot the rare Nilgiri Tahr, a species of mountain goat. Then, visit the Mattupetty Dam, a peaceful spot where you can take in the view and relax by the water.
Later, you’ll visit the Tea Museum to learn how tea is grown and processed in the region. You’ll get to enjoy a cup of fresh tea while soaking in the cool mountain air. Other highlights include visiting the Rose Garden, stopping by Photo Point for a perfect snapshot, and experiencing Echo Point, where your voice bounces back from the hills.
As the day ends, you’ll unwind in Munnar, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

On your last day, after breakfast, you’ll visit two of Kerala’s most stunning waterfalls. First, there’s Valara Falls, a beautiful cascade surrounded by lush forest. Next, you’ll stop at Cheeyappara Falls, a majestic seven-step waterfall. Both stops offer a refreshing experience and a chance to take in Kerala’s natural beauty one last time.
The final stop of your trip is Athirapally Falls, often called the “Niagara of India.” The powerful rush of water here is an awe-inspiring sight and a fitting conclusion to your journey.
Afterwards, you’ll return to Kochi, where we will drop you at the airport or train station for your onward journey. The memories of Kerala’s natural beauty, culture, and wildlife will stay with you long after your trip ends.
