Coorg is a popular coffee-producing hill station. Undulating hills covered in lush green forests, the streams cutting right through them, and a landscape dotted with coffee plantations, tea gardens, and orange groves, this hill station has breathtakingly stunning scenic beauty.

Wayanad, which is also known as the ‘green paradise’ lies in between the mountains of the Western Ghats. Wayanad district is located on the southern tip of the Deccan plateau and in the northeastern part of Kerala and is the most popular tourist location in Kerala. It is often called the spice garden of the south, the land of paddy fields, and home of monsoon. Wayanad is spread over an area of 2132 sq km which is mainly known for its cool highland climate, misty peaks, and its virgin forests.

Day 1

Morning: Arrive in Bangalore and depart to Mysore, where you will check into a hotel, clean up, and then have breakfast before seeing the Mysore Palace, early in the morning by taking the tempo that GA has booked for you to travel on for the next four days.

Discover the Mysore Palace's fascinating history and stunning architecture. Visit the palace grounds on your own or with a guide.
After seeing Mysore Palace in the afternoon, take a break for lunch. There are numerous eateries and restaurants. You can choose to have a packed lunch to save time for the drive to Coorg or enjoy local South Indian specialties, or another choice based on your preferences, 

Namdroling Monastery (2:30 PM): Make your way to the Namdroling Monastery in Bylakuppe after lunch (2:30 PM). Namdroling Monastery is roughly a 1.5 to 2-hour journey from Mysore. Visit the monastery, take in the tranquil surroundings, and be amazed by the unique Tibetan architecture.

Travel to Dubare Camp (4:30 PM): Start your travel to Dubare Camp after spending a few hours at Namdroling Monastery. A 30-minute trip gets you from Bylakuppe to Dubare Camp. As you travel to the camp, take in the picturesque splendor and luxuriant flora of the area. When you get to Dubare Camp, you can participate in a variety of activities focused on nature and elephants. Participate in bathing the elephants, feeding them, and interacting with them while learning about their conservation efforts. You can also enjoy a boat ride or explore the surrounding forest if time permits.

Stay: Hotel/ Camping

Day 2

Early morning:

Mandalpatti Sunrise: Wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise in Coorg's Mandalpatti. To get to Mandalpatti, depart from your lodging at least an hour before daybreak. From Coorg, the drive to the Mandalpatti viewpoint takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. We will either drive to the viewpoint ourselves or take a jeep after you get at the base. Enjoy the mesmerizing sunrise over the Western Ghats and the expansive vistas of the surroundings from the summit.

Breakfast: Pack a few small snacks and drinks for breakfast to enjoy while driving through Mandalpatti's scenic surroundings.

Once breakfast is finished, pack up the Jeep safari and go for Coorg.

Head to Abbey Waterfalls, To access the waterfall, make a short hike, then take in the breathtaking scenery and cooling ambiance. Take some time to relax and unwind in the natural world while taking pictures. Leave Abbey Waterfalls and head in the direction of Raja Seat, a stunning garden.
From the garden's elevated position, take in sweeping views of the valleys and hills in the area. Indulge in some downtime on the well-kept grounds while taking in the serene ambiance.

12:00 PM: Lunch Break

Visit a local restaurant or eatery in Madikeri for lunch. Take a bite of some traditional Coorg food or another delicacy of your choosing.
Leave Madikeri and travel to Tala Kaveri, the River Kaveri's source. Make your way to TalaKaveri in the Brahmagiri Hills.
Discover the sacred water source of the River Kaveri and the shrine dedicated to the Goddess Kaveri.
Enjoy the tranquil setting and consider the location's spiritual significance.

Leave Tala Kaveri and begin traveling in the direction of Wayanad. The drive from TalaKaveri to Wayanad takes approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Arrive in  Wayanad 
Reach Wayanad and check in at your pre-booked accommodation. Rest and relax after a long day of exploration.

Stay: Homestay/Hotel

Day 3
Early Morning(5.30 AM ): Proceed to Soochipara Falls, also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfalls. Spend time enjoying the cascading falls, take a dip in the pool

Post Breakfast(10AM): 

Visit 900 Kandi in the hinterland of Wayanad, Kerala. It is a lush paradise where adventure meets tranquillity.  With its towering trees, rolling hills and canopy, Wayanad's 900 (Thollayiram) Kandi is a magician. Here, just dance in the sky! At Kandi 900 the magic begins. Life flows at its own gentle pace in this pristine land. Thollayiram means '900' in local usage and Kandi means 'land'. There is only a green belt as far as the eye can see. 900 Kandi hides a rare secret. For those interested in heights, this is the place to be. 900 hectares of pristine greenery remains intact. The Adventure Zone in the middle of the forest offers a variety of adrenaline-pumping activities. Your trip begins with an off-road tour through the forest at a fast pace. Along the way, you'll encounter spectacular waterfalls, enchanting swamps, and angelic locations. Drive through the mysterious forest and you will arrive at the land of adventure. The glass bridge at this point is known for having a skywalk. With it, you can stretch straight into the sky and stare at a panoramic carpet of blues and greens. The walk itself is an exhilarating experience and the few minutes spent on the glass bridge really make you feel at one with nature. If you're still feeling adventurous, climb up to a magnificent treehouse that scrapes the sky.  

 

Experience an adrenaline rush with a thrilling zipline adventure. Enjoy the  aerial views and the excitement of soaring through the treetops.

Lunch Break

Take a break for lunch at a local restaurant or eatery.

Savour some traditional Wayand cuisine or any other delicacies of your choice.

Afternoon(3.30PM): Visit Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earthen dam in India. Enjoy the scenic views, take a boat ride, and explore the surroundings. 

Night: Check into your accommodation in Wayanad and rest for the night.

Day 4


 

Early Morning: Start early and trek to Chembra Peak, the highest peak in Wayanad. Witness a breathtaking sunrise from the summit and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

Post Breakfast : We will drive to the beautiful freshwater lake Pukode, visit the nearby children's park, take a walk around the lake, and enjoy boating.

Afterwards, visit the Edakkal Caves, known for their prehistoric rock carvings. Hike to the top of the cave to explore its historical significance and breathtaking views. Then drive to Kuravadeep Island, an island in a calm river. Take a leisurely walk, enjoy the lush vegetation or just relax by the river bank. 


Lunch Break

Take a break for lunch at a local restaurant or eatery.

Savour some traditional Wayand cuisine or any other delicacies of your choice.

 

Departure:

1:30 PM: Depart to Bangalore 

Leave Wayanadand start your journey towards Bangalore

The drive from Wayanad takes approximately 4 to 5 hours.

06:30 PM: Arrival at Bangalore.

Reach Bangalore and Board Bus to respective destinations


Note 1: Things to be carried in your  trip change a bit as per the season during which you plan your trip. In the following list, we have mentioned seasonal things separately. Do check with your trek leader about the weather forecast before packing.

Note: Littering any kind of rappers, tissues, napkins, bottles or anything else will strictly not be entertained. So doers shall be on their own thereafter.
