Day 1:

  • Afternoon: Visit the Khajjiar Lake, also known as the "Mini Switzerland of India". Take a boat ride on the lake, go for a nature walk or simply relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of the place.
  • Evening: Take a leisurely walk around the Mall Road, the main market area in Dalhousie. You can also visit St. John's Church, a beautiful colonial-era church built in 1863.

Day 2:

  • Morning: Start your day with a visit to the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary, located about 10 km from Dalhousie. The sanctuary is home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, bears, and leopards, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
  • Lunch: Have lunch at Daikund Peak, a beautiful spot with stunning views of the valley below.

  • Evening: End your day with a visit to the Satdhara Falls, located about 7 km from Dalhousie. The waterfall is surrounded by beautiful forests and is a great spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Day 3:

  • Morning: After breakfast, check out of your hotel and head back home. On the way, you can visit the Chamera Dam, located about 30 km from Dalhousie, and enjoy the scenic views of the reservoir and surrounding mountains.

Use your garbage bag or properly dispose of used wet tissues and napkins. Do not litter wet tissues and sanitary napkins in the mountains as well as other public areas.

Tip: While packing, use plastic bags to compartmentalize things and carry a few extra plastic bags for wet clothes.
