Muthyamdhara Waterfalls
These falls are located in Jayashankar Bhupalapally district of Telangana. These falls are the highest falls of Telangana, falling from the height of 700 ft, as also marked as the third highest waterfalls of the country. The best time to visit these falls is during the monsoon as the flow would be great. During the months from July to September, these falls stretch their flow across the streams giving a great sight.
Everyone would be super excited as the place we are going to visit is a gorgeous waterfalls, in the state of Telangana. The roaring water sound is pleasant to hear as the cascading falls, flow with a heavy gush, milky white texture. The water here come from Kadam river, which is a tributary of river Godavari. These falls are attractive as they reside themselves in the arms of dense forest, with lush green atmosphere and the drizzling water pecking on your cheeks which automatically brings a smile on your face.

These falls are located at a distance of 310 km from Hyderabad. The trek distance would be of 7-8 km one way, which would merely remind you of the Sahayadris in the western ghats. The route to reach these falls is Mulugu-Eturunagaram-Venkatapuram-Veerabhadravaram. The road conditions are very good and Eturunagaram forest drive is scenic. If you want to stay, there are Tadvai Haritha huts nearby, where we can request the locals for camping permission.. There are no food and water available here, as the falls reside in the dense forest. Therefore, it is better to carry our own food and water from Venkatapuram.

Kongala Waterfalls

Kongala Waterfalls is about 2 hours from Warangal, tourist attraction in Jangalapalle in the state of Telangana. These falls are located at a distance of 243 km away from Hyderabad. If you are visiting these falls, also visit Bogatha Waterfalls, which is only a 10 min drive and a 45 min trek. These falls are truly hidden, as it is lessly known. Therefore, take the help of the locals there while you trek as there are no proper directions to reach these falls. These falls give an enchanting experience as they are a treat to eyes. These falls are one of the peace representing places.

The locals there call these falls as V-shaped falls. They fall from a great height of 70 ft, which gives a long view to the sight of the tourists. The Loddimadugu vagu/ stream merges into the pool of the Kongala falls, which makes the water look even more fresh and fascinating. Finding this place itself is an adventure. These falls have many places to visit around it.
Note: 1) Carry your own food, water and snacks.
            2) Wear shoes and cover yourselves fully to avoid mosquito bites
